Wheatland STOUT 930W was our pick of the 2010 Wheatland bull sale where he was the $34,000 second high seller. STOUT blends a modest 84 lb. birthweight and weaned off his 2-year-old dam with an adjusted weaning weight of 940 lbs. We believe he is a valuable genetic package and offers a sterling pedigree backed by generations of predictable cow families. He is sired by the outcross sire Wheatland Bull 680S, his dam is a full sib to the $44,000 Wheatland Red Ace 747T and his grand dam is Wheatland Lady 902J who has averaged $18,807 on 13 sons sold to date. STOUT is big middled, great haired, huge topped, is extremely athletic and sound and has big testicles. We are excited to incorporate STOUT into our program in a big way!

RF Double Up 37W is our new jr. herd sire that truly has a predictable pedigree filled with some of the hardest working, nicest uddered, consistent producing cows in the breed. His dam is in our donor program and was the 2008 National Champion female. His Grand dam, Flirt 6P, was the 2006 National Champion Female as well as the 2006 World Simmental Congress Champion Female. His sires dam, SOSF Ebony's Joy, has well over a half million dollars in progeny sales and is one of the most famous cows in the breed. His sire is our walking herdsire, Intuition, who in his first calf crop proved his predictability siring one of the most consistent calf crops we've ever had. Double Up's Sire and Dam were both Supreme Champions over all breeds at the 2008 Farmfair International. Double Up is deep bodied, big topped, has great hair, big testicles and an unbeatable disposition. He brings the genetics of one of the most sought after females in the breed, the $96,000 valuation donor cow SOSF Ebony's Joy, who has over $500,000 in life time earnings in 5 short years of production. In his only two Canadian shows he was named Grand Champion Simmental bull and Supreme Champion Bull over all breeds at Farmfair International in Edmonton and Reserve National Champion Bull at the Canadian Western Agribition. He was also the reserve calf champion at the 2006 NAILE, class winner in Denver, and reserve division at the Breeders Sweepstakes, Ohio, and Kentucky State fairs in 2007. Intuition is a full sib to many sale topping, influential donors and herd sires across USA and was high selling bull in the 2007 NAILE sale in Louisville. This Homozygous polled Trademark son was used in our heifer pen. He brings the proven calving ease genetics of his sire and the maternal genetics of his TCF/RCC Temptation sired dam who was Grand Champion Female at the 2007 NABC in London and Reserve Champion Female at the 2007 Toronto Royal. He gives up no ground in terms of performance either, with a weaning weight of 960 lbs and a yearling weight of 1510 lbs! Watch for calves out of this exciting new herd sire.
